City of Opelika Vendor Self Services

Vendor Self Service (VSS) allows vendors to view purchase orders, 1099 forms, invoices, and checks. Vendors can also maintain their contact and remittance information as well as discount and payment terms, contact persons, and a listing of commodity codes that represent the goods and services they offer. You may also register your company to receive bids on commodities that your company supplies, receive bid notices, view bid results and provide or place bid responses.

Existing users can log in to view/update your profile by clicking LOG IN on the top right corner of the page.

TO REGISTER CLICK ON VENDOR SELF SERVICE IN THE LEFT MENU.

CURRENT VENDORS need their Vendor ID # (this number is located on their check and/or purchase order from the City of Opelika) and their Federal ID # (typically the Federal Employer Identification Number or Social Security Number). If vendors need their Vendor ID number, they can call the Purchasing office at 334-705-5120. Federal ID numbers or Social Security Numbers on file will not be given out.

NEW VENDORS should follow the multistep registration process.

City of Opelika staff will review the submitted information (including the submission of a valid W-9). Once the information has been validated, the Vendor will be added to the list of approved City vendors.
